You're a climber traveling and you really want to practice your favorite activity? With the My Climbing Gym app, you can easily find an awesome place to climb around you. More than 1000 bouldering, top rope and lead climbing gyms are listed all over the world!The climbing gyms are displayed on a map centered on your position. It’s easy to move around, zoom and unzoom the map to discover everything around you. Clicking on one of the gym will open a new screen describing it with much more precisions. It includes:- general information: the address, how to get there, the facilities (Can I rent climbing shoes or a harness there? Is there a nice campus board? Is there a sauna to relax after climbing? Can I also eat or drink something there? ...) ;- the timetable, to know when you can climb there ;- the prices, to know how much it cost to enter ;- some climbing information, such as the climbing style (bouldering, top rope or lead), the walls height & area, the minimum & maximum difficulty ;- And many pictures so you can clearly see what does the gym looks like!
If you really like a gym, you can add it to your favorites by clicking on the heart from the details screen. Next time you want to check something about it, simply open the left menu from the map screen and click on the favorite gyms item.From this menu, you can also filter the gyms by style on the map (bouldering, lead or both), and access the app settings. The settings include the possibility to change the grading system (UIAA, USA, French, Hueco, Font) used for the routes difficulty, and to change the unit system (metric or imperial) used for the distance, the walls height & surface.
